The Oregon Truffle Festival leads in promoting the exclusive use of truffle dogs to ensure harvest of the highest quality truffles while preventing the environmental harm caused by raking. NW Truffle Dogs has partnered with the Oregon Truffle Festival to produce the Truffle Dog Training Seminar held at the Festival each January, and in the development of standards for certification of truffles harvested by trained truffle dogs.
NW Truffle Dog Trainers operate out of home offices. Truffle training assessments and instruction are by appointment, and hours of operation may vary from location to location. Call to find a trainer near you.
